I hate double standards in some of the fandom groups. They allow hetero pairings, even the ones involving younger characters/12-year-olds (nothing sexual of course), but ban queer readings altogether. They even have the audacity to put the rule against same sex pairings in the same rule as the no incest pairings. Thanks for making out an important part of who I am equal to pedophiliac and abusive relationships, ass. Why does 'queer' automatically mean '18+'? I get most of these mods are young and are just repeating what society/their parents teach them, but these are ideas that need to die fast.
Another side complaint; they claim this is to avoid drama and 'offending some people'. I think you're catering to the wrong demographic there, friend, if it means you dehumanize another set of people. Honestly, either go all in or say no shipping altogether. Anything less makes you a hypocrite. I'm just asking to be treated like a person.

The State of the Group pt. 2
You know when I joked about the new layout not informing me of submissions? Hahahaha well turns out, it's not a joke! I have to go into the admin area and manually approve things now. In lieu of this, please don't spam submissions. That page is hard enough to navigate.
The state of the group
I'll make this quick because looking at the deviantART Eclipse (tm) word processor is making my eyes hurt. I'm not leaving dA in its entirety, but I will be on less often. I will be on at least once a day to approve submissions (if the stupid new message center tells me there are submissions). Also, out of respect for the creators, we will not be accepting art of Ticki Toby's new design or Clockwork. This has been added to the rule list. Thank you for reading!

honestly like??? being put on the same level as pedophiles and abusers is the worst thing ever. the fact that someone falls under the LGBTQIA+ umbrella doesn't mean that they're automatically on the same level as rapists. :\\\\\ it sucks not being able to enjoy fandom because people refuse to let go of their homophobia.
as i said with dethlaric, being proactive in the spread of information at the very least is our best bet of having terrible ideologies like that die faster. (bc i know that not everyone has the energy or mental ability to constantly correct and maybe even get into fights with people. even i had to fav this and come back to it days later because of mental health and energy reasons)
